Big winner at the 7th Visual Effects Society awards was ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ winning all major awards of the evening. Even tough ‘Iron Man’ had the most nominations before the show, the movie failed to win any awards. VFX legend Phil Tippet was honored and he reflected on his career pointing out that nowadays you can always go back and change things as many times as you want. Back in the day you were able to do it once, and thats what you would get. He compared it to if you were trying to play a piano, but you would not hear the sounds, instead you would hear them one day later. So by the time you are hitting the keys you hope something good will come out of it.
